Sarsfields ladies team had a great win away to a very strong and well drilled Mullabrack team. The ladies came away with a convincing six point win. All the girls put in committed performances with Ciara Robinson, Rebecca McCaffrey and Dervla Campbell getting some great scores from play. The ‘Woman of the Match’ was a simple choice with Emma Murray who covered every blade grass on the pitch and won a lot of possession. This was a significant win in that it was the first win out of three for the ladies and hopefully it will have boosted their confidence.
Maybe the ladies can inspire the gents to take their first win. |
